SGT Daniel Tallouzi

from Daniel's Mom Mary:

One of the hardest questions that I have been asked in my life is what do I miss most about Daniel?   I have been blessed to have three wonderful children, all who are distinct and different.

I never ever imagined being asked this question because it meant that something happened to him. That day arrived on 25 September 2006 when he was injured during a mortar attack. A piece of shrapnel, the size of a quarter, flew through the air and caught his right ear. It crossed both hemispheres of his brain and caused what might be considered a scrambled egg effect and the damaged his brain.  Now he lies in an “eyes open” coma.

Sgt. Daniel Tallouzi was awarded the Purple Heart for the sacrifice that he has made in support of his country and freedom.

It is with deep regret that I inform all who made read this that this wonderful soldier passed away on 28 February almost two years after he suffered his injury.
Daniel touched my heart forever and he will always be in my prayers.
